Vision-based Inspection System

Vision Intelligence Products Inc.r application in production environments, the Sortronic uses machine vision technology to sort for part defects, dimensions, mixed parts, or feature presence. This system has a simple design, is lightweight, and can be set up easily on the production floor.

Its machine vision inspection technology and parts handling links with part feeders or bowl feeders, which allows rapid sorting of large volumes of parts. The system sorts parts by specific parameters into accept/reject bins, and provides output of each inspected feature directly to the monitor screen, to the pass/fail output, and to an optional RS-232 output. Among the parts this system can sort are nuts, bolts, pins, shafts, washers, and many others. The typical part throughput is 1,000 ppm and resolution is 1/1000 of FOV (Field of View).
