Each and every threaded or plain plug and ring gage receives the treatment and care they deserve
QCS prides itself with attention to the most minute details. This attention to detail is the backbone of the quality business, just as these gages are critical to your quality program. Each and every threaded or plain plug and ring gage receives the treatment and care they deserve, including:
Prior to shipment gages have:
The assurance of accurate, precise measurement is the business of quality. QCS company policy mandates that assurance, with an uncompromised level of service to each and every gage and each and every customer.
- Visual inspection for minor nicks or burrs to ensure no shipping damage has occurred. Any nicks or burrs are then stoned and removed as necessary.
- Existing sealing wax is removed from thread rings and thread surfaces are brushed clean.
- Demagnetization and ultrasonic cleaning can then take place.
- All gages are entered into QCS Computerized Tracking System, listing all gage nomenclature, serial numbers, and assigned tracking number, for easy access and follow up.
Prior to shipment gages have:
- All critical gaging surfaces coated in "Dipseal" to prevent damage.
- New sealing wax is melted into thread rings (Green for Go - Red for No Go).
