SPC Software Suite

CimWorks, a GE Fanuc Company.0, a 32-bit version of the firm's Windows-based statistical process control software, allows manufacturers to collect and report statistical process control data in real time. It also can support large amounts of data with its new interface options.

This version also gives users a choice of database platforms – Microsoft Access, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server. The Oracle and SQL servers are enterprise databases that offer greater security, can handle more data, and are easier to back up. Access is the standard VisualSPC database used by companies with smaller installations.

New features build in more flexibility in this version. Wizards are used for part setup and a Designer feature lets you customize data collection screens. A built-in alarm editors let you create alarm schemes and the report generator contains standard reports and will let you create custom reports.
