Suited for fixed inspection and production, the IndiRon 1000 system measures out-of-roundness (TIR), concentricity, coaxiality, squareness, axis alignment
Suited for fixed inspection and production, the IndiRon 1000 system measures out-of-roundness (TIR), concentricity, coaxiality, squareness, axis alignment, interrupted surface, and cylindricity conditions. It has a rigid console with a large surface plate and gage stand for increased versatility, accuracy, and capacity over portable, bench-type models.

The device can perform data logging, handles loads up to 200 lbs, and offers rotational speeds of 1, 2, or 4 rpm.

Specifications include:

  • radial or axial accuracy of ±2.5 µin. standard
  • measurement datum: air bearing
  • 0.15 scfm air consumption
  • gage reach (overall part height) is 24 in. above work table

Special models with weight capacities to 1,000 lbs, spindle accuracies to ±1 millionth in., and full mini-computer measurement assist and data reduction function are available. In addition, the Universal linear slide can be added to check cylindricity, surface squareness, or flatness.
