A wide range of interchangeable lenses for the Conoprobe 1000, Conoscan 2000, and Conoscan 3000 non-contact dimensional measurement systems is now available. The lenses give the user the flexibility to create new measurements regardless of which of the company's probe or system is being used.

From microns to millimeters, a single sensor can be used by changing the objective lens. The range of interchangeable lenses is suitable for multifunctional environments where testing is done on a small part one day and on a much larger part another day. However, many companies manufacture parts that are similar in size and may only need one lens, so the company enables you to purchase just one lens at a time.

Users can essentially create a new probe or system and open up a measurement range just by changing the lens. The smallest lens has a working range of 0.5 mm and a standoff of 9 mm, and the largest has a working range of 70 mm and standoff of 110 mm. Special lenses are also available.

Calibration for the lenses is stored in the probe itself. In less than 60 sec, the lens can be changed and the software can download the proper calibration.
