Axila, Inc.a portable arm designed for use in the checking of assembly fixtures. The arm is available in four models and weighs between 7 and 12 kg, depending on the selected model. The manufacturer states that the portable arm, which is linked to a notebook computer, can be fixed in any position in space.

The arm is designed to measure six-axis systems, which is equivalent to the human arm. However, it can also be used with a seventh axis, the numeric rail, to measure large volumes. The device features single point accuracy (2 sigma) from 0.002-in. (0.05 mm) and measures volumes up to 118-in. (3,000 mm) and longer with a seventh-axis rail.

The arm features a carbon graphite and anodized aluminum (aerospace grade) construction for stability and reliability.
