NVLAP Expands IES LM-80-08 Accreditations For Orb Optronix

Kirkland, WA - Orb Optronix, the first fully-independent ISO 17025 certified IES LM-80 testing facility in the United States, has been awarded accreditation by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program under the Energy Efficient Lighting Products Program (NVLAP #500055-0). This new accreditation scope includes IES LM-80-08 Lumen Maintenance Testing, IES LM-79-08 Integral Lamp Testing, and greatly expands the number of accredited measurement services available from the company while adding NIST-sponsored proficiency testing.

“NVLAP is our industry’s gold seal for accreditation, and we are proud to be the U.S. leader in third-party LM-80 testing”, said Rand Lee, President. “Our early appreciation of the growing need for turn-key LM-80 systems has started placing Orb Optronix’ vertically integrated LM-80 hardware and software solutions into laboratories around the world.”

Orb Optronix now has accreditation in the following measurement standards, expanding on previous accreditations in LM-79-08 Integral Lamp Testing and IES LM-80-08 Lumen Maintenance Testing:
