Non-contact Video Measurement and Inspection System

Designed to perform high-tolerance measuring, the Seebrez system brings PC functionality to non-contact measuring and provides a variety of production and reporting options.

The system can be used manually or upgraded to motorized version or a fully automated CNC version. The measurement platform is machined out of a solid billet of aircraft-quality aluminum and is mounted on a granite base for maximum stability. It features a heavy-duty work stage with an oversized measuring envelope.

The automated system speeds multi-axis measurement and employs the Metronics Quadra-Chek 4000 software for point-and-click functionality. A CAD interface module lets you export data to a CAD system for reverse engineering or import from a CAD file to accelerate part programming.

Both the manual and fully automated systems feature a measuring capacity of 6- × 12- × 6-in.; a high resolution of 0.5 µm or ultra-high resolution of 0.25 µm; a 10:1 zoom ratio; a Z-axis adjustable slide for tall parts; and three dc-regulated constant voltage illuminators. Additional features include TTL, backlight, and ringlight illumination, color video image, and a 27–270X and 54–540X magnification range with 2X lens (object to image).
