Using a high-intensity LED as its light source, the MR-1100/1300 optical micrometer can measure moving or rotating objects via high-speed sampling without being affected by deflection or movement. The optical design, which includes a CCD, allows stable measurements of even transparent items. The narrow slit of light (14 µm) makes it possible to measure tapers and curved surfaces.
Measurement range is 0.110 mm for the MR-1100 and 0.130 mm for the MR-1300. Accuracy is ±4 µm or ±7 µm, depending on the model. Processing times either are 1.5 or 3 ms and displacement output is ±5 V full scale. The device uses an RS-232C interface and requires 90264 Vac power supply.
