Non-Contact Gaging System
Unlike eddy current probes, this sensor isn't influenced by the properties of the target material, temperature, or magnetic fields near the sensor. It also offers lower noise and less drift as well as accuracy, stability, and repeatability for vibration, runout, displacement, or position applications such as X-Y positioning, machinery dynamics, spindle runout, and flatness or profile measurements.
Based on the company's technology, the system is said to provide a solution for many measurements previously unattainable, such as those where the target is extremely small and where the sensor needs to have as much operating range as possible.
The system can be used with the company's full line of interchangeable probes.
Additional features include:
measurement with small probe sizes, including rectangular and annular configurations
greatly expanded sensing ranges without sacrificing probe sizes
miniature probe sizes with sensing ranges extended by as much as 40 times
