The Conoscan 3000 is a non-contact 3D measuring system that is collinear and can be used to make fast, accurate, and repeatable 3D precision measurements of metal, plastic, and rubber industrial molds; machined parts; tools; steep angles; blind slots; small radius holes; and detailed contours.
Using a patented technique called conoscopic holography, the system can measure up to 700 points dynamically while stages are moving. The method delivers extremely precise 3D digital images of practically any surface.
The unit's design allows measurement of narrow and deep holes of less than 1-mm-dia. as well as depths to diameter ratios of 25:1.
By changing the lens on the probe, surfaces from sub-micron to meters can be measured. For most applications, precision and repeatability is greater than 1/8000 of the working range.
