NexTech Announces Shipment Of The Pegasus™ Wafer Sorting System

Austin, TX - NexTech Solutions, Inc. recently announced that the company has shipped multiple Pegasus wafer sorting systems to a Silicon Valley semiconductor maker in a 200mm wafer fab. Company claims that it brings metrology and automation solutions to the Semiconductor, FPD (Flat Panel Display), and other industries.

According to NexTech Solutions the Pegasus 2200i 200mm wafer sorter is a fully-automated, host controlled wafer substrate management tool that maintains a Sub-Class 1 environment for semiconductor wafers. The Pegasus is capable of critical wafer handling operations including wafer lot verification, lot splits, lot merges, lot compression, wafer transfer, incident recovery and test wafer management adds the company.
