NEW SmartScope Flash with Built-in TTL Laser

ROCHESTER, NY, February, 2003 - Optical Gaging Products announces its latest multi-sensor metrology solution – SmartScope® Flash™ with TTL Laser. This versatile machine integrates video and through-the-lens (TTL) laser to thoroughly measure dimensions of manufactured parts, without contact. SmartScope Flash 200 is a rugged and compact bench top machine – even the computer is embedded - providing a small total system footprint so it can be used almost anywhere. Its unique twin-column Z-axis design maximizes mechanical integrity, and its patented illumination sources make it appropriate for measurement of complex parts.

The large imaging range of the Accucentric® 12x zoom lens is automatically calibrated at every magnification making the SmartScope Flash 200 perfect for measurement of subtle features regardless of material. The integral laser complements the video measurements with linear, circular, and area scans of surface contours and geometry. The system can also be configured with a touch probe. Powered by OGP's exclusive 32-bit Measure-X™ software, SmartScope Flash 200 uses point and click tools to simplify measurements. Written from the ground up to optimize measurement versatility and minimize setup time, Measure-X works seamlessly with software options that include form fitting, SPC, CAD translation, and custom report writing.
