Modular Gaging System

Precitechr the lab or shopfloor, the large-capacity modular circular form measurement system incorporates a granite base mounted on a fabricated steel frame and machine isolation leveling mounts. It has a 10.62 in.-diam air bearing spindle with ±2.5µin. accuracy; a single speed AC synchronous motor drive with encoder is connected to the industrial packaged computer interface module.

Also included is an integral touchscreen control and the company's ProForm metrology software that enables exact measurement of out-of-roundness, eccentricity, FIM, flatness, perpendicularity, and more. The gage system also offers an optional swing out overhead bridge assembly to facilitate I.D. and O.D. measurements. In addition, movable gage stands are available for single or dual gage head measurements. Part measurements can be downloaded onto a floppy disk or printed out.

The system accommodates workpieces up to 1,000 lbs (balanced load). Overhead bridge and granite base size can be specified to accommodate workpieces to 36 in.-diam and 48 in. tall.
