Deltronic, Inc.6-in. horizontal bench-top comparator system is engineered with a quick-change bayonet lens mount for instantaneous magnification lens change without calibration, a ±15° helix stage for thread-form measurement with vernier graduations in 5-ft. increments, and an electronic screen protractor (ESP). The ESP reads angles directly and displays angles to either a minute or 0.01° on an LED readout, and indicates angles from zero in either direction in both incremental and absolute modes.

Standard features of the all-metal comparator system also include a hi/low 15W illumination system, a full usable 16-in. viewing screen, 10-in. X-axis and 6-in. Y-axis travel, cross roller bearings, quick release X travel, erect optical image, and rotating chart clips.

Available options include an automated measurement system (AMS) for automatic inspection, motorized focus-axis, a swing-clear lamphouse for surface measurement of large parts, a motorized stage with joystick control, fiber-optic illumination for surface measurement, an extended 12-in. X-axis stage travel, automatic edge sensing, and a comparator cabinet.
