Today's manufacturing industry demands dependable materials
Today's manufacturing industry demands dependable materials. In order to determine if the material used in your process is the proper hardness, your equipment needs to be in optimum working condition. A.A. Jansson's highly skilled service technicians can provide calibration and repair to the necessary industry standards that meet your stringent quality requirements. We will calibrate and repair Rockwell, Brinell, and Tinius Olsen Hardness Testers.

Prior to calibration, all machines are taken apart and thoroughly cleaned and inspected for worn and broken parts. The necessary parts are replaced (with customer approval). Then each tester is calibrated with a certified test block master at the low, medium, and high ranges. An average of 3 to 6 readings are calculated and documented on a long form certificate. All test block masters are traceable to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). Every calibration will be performed in accord with the requirements of ASTM, ISO 10012-1, ISO Guide 25, ANSI Z540-1 specifications. The documentation provided will meet the requirements of ISO 9000 and QS9000.

A.A. Jansson is continually trying to find ways to reduce costs and pass those savings on to our valued customers. By training our technicians on multiple types of equipment we can reduce travel costs. All Hardness Tester technicians are professionally trained and capable of providing Optical Comparator calibration and repair. Each technician carries with them a vast inventory of Optical Comparator and Hardness Tester parts, allowing us to minimize downtime. For prices, email us at metrology@aajansson.com.
