Boeing adopts Tecnomatix e-Manufacturing software as a standard for quality assurance

Herzeliya, Israel—Tecnomatix Technologies, Ltd., a pioneer and world leader in e-Manufacturing software solutions, announced that The Boeing Company, the largest aerospace company in the world, has adopted the Tecnomatix eMPower Quality Solution as one of its corporate standards for quality assurance.

This decision follows Boeing's accreditation of the eMPower Quality software tools. Boeing performs internal accreditation of software that is used for its critical processes in the design, build and acceptance of aerospace products. Accreditation seeks to ensure that the software and resultant data is of the highest quality.


"Boeing named eMPower a standard because it offered the functionality, mathematical capability and unique inspection results we need to accurately machine and inspect complex machined parts," said Bill Ackley, Manager of Information Systems - Precision Machining and Inspection Systems, Boeing. "Tecnomatix has worked closely with Boeing to continually improve the quality of the software."

A customer of Tecnomatix for nearly a decade, Boeing today uses Tecnomatix software and services in multiple manufacturing facilities.
