All Weather, Inc. Shipping 46 AWOS Systems To India

Sacramento, CA - All Weather, Inc. (AWI), a leading manufacturer of weather information systems and meteorological sensors, has been awarded a contract to provide 46 Automated Weather Observing Systems (AWOS) Type II throughout the country of India. These 46 systems will be installed and become operational over the next 12 months and provide critical weather reporting to operators and pilots in areas previously void of aviation weather reports.

"AWI AWOS systems have been specially designed to thrive in the harsh climates often found in many regions of India as well as other parts of the world. This, coupled with AWI's 30 year history of providing accurate and reliably weather reporting, has provided the Indian aviation community with safer and more informed air travels," said Steve Glander, International Sales Manager for AWI.

AWI is also providing our AWOSWeb system that allows all 46 systems to be connected to a single command center where all weather conditions can be monitored and disseminated to either a private or public network. AWOSWeb will also provide remote maintenance and monitoring capabilities allowing quick diagnosis and repair of equipment. This is a significant feature, as many of the locations in India will be extremely remote. With the AWOSWeb tool, initial fault assessments can be made prior to deploying technicians to the field, thus greatly improving maintenance efficiency and system uptime.

Included in AWI's AWOS II offering to India are sensors for measuring wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, sunlight intensity, and visibility with AWI's dual-technology visibility sensor.
