Advanced Gaging System

Providing shopfloor dimensional measurement, data collection, and SPC, the MPACS advanced gaging system can be used in manual, semi-automatic, and benchtop fixture applications. The system runs on Windows NT and allows gaging to continue while other applications are in use.

Measurement specs include readings that are refreshed 4,000/sec with the DynaScan 4000; 14-bit A/D resolution; configurable input filters; static, dynamic, and profile methods; complex sequential measurements; and use of LVDTs, half-bridge, linear encoders, voltage inputs, air circuits, and serial data.

Calibration capabilities include single button mastering, gain and zero correction, automatic master detection, probe movement checking, duplicate reading detection, calibration either as radius or diameter, and alarms or warnings based on user-configured events. Results are displayed in column or tab format, line and polar array graphs, X-Y plots, and part graphic with updating information.
