This latest-generation Accu-Setter features enhanced software that promotes the ability to display the measurement of up to four checks. One gage can measure four features of a single part, or operators can use up to four different gaging fixtures simultaneously. The unit can be used for air-electronic or just electronic gaging applications. Six programs can be stored in the column's memory, allowing faster and easier changeover between setups. Auto Recognition enables the Accu-Setter to automatically recognize which gage is being used in a multiple fixture application. Auto Reset permits the user to program an automatic time delay that resets the display before measurements are taken a helpful feature for dynamic measurement applications.

Each reading taken on the Accu-Setter column can be easily downloaded to a personal computer or serial printer using its RS-232C serial port. Common, inexpensive PC database programs can accept Accu-Setter data, in ASCII format, for storing and/or printing. The data is transferred from the Accu-Setter to a serial printer by simply pressing the "enter" button or optional footswitch.

A single button controls virtually all of the Accu-Setter's functions and operations. An easy-to-read LED alphanumeric display prompts users step-by-step through setup and gaging functions. An LED bar graph and other indicators provide at-a-glance monitoring of part measurement.

Application specialists will be on hand to discuss Edmunds Gages' other dimensional measurement products, including the company's custom gaging capabilities.
