Able to perform tool and die measurements, machined parts inspection, go/no-go overlay measurement, and screw thread inspection, the 500 hp portable optical comparator has a high contrast 12-in screen and provides bright images.
The measuring device uses high resolution lenses (10x, 20x, 31.25x, 40x, and 50x). Travel is 6 x 2½ in. (X-Y) and T-slot table size is 12 x 3 in. "Thru-the-lens" surface illumination, which shows surface detail without projecting light around the machine, is optional. The screen rotates with a 5-min vernier.
