The MCV-2002W Laser Calibration System utilizes a dual beam laser head module and a dual channel processor to accomplish simultaneous linear and angular (pitch, yaw, straightness, flatness) calibration of axes on a machine tool, CMM, or X-Y table
The MCV-2002W Laser Calibration System utilizes a dual beam laser head module and a dual channel processor to accomplish simultaneous linear and angular (pitch, yaw, straightness, flatness) calibration of axes on a machine tool, CMM, or X-Y table. The software runs on WINDOWS(TM) 95, 98 and 2000. The software enables the operator to automatically collect linear and angular position, or angular data, on-the-fly, and in accordance with industry standards. The measurement increments are defined by the operator. Material temperature, air temperature and air pressure variations are automatically compensated for by software using data from the system's sensors. Single or multiple passes are defined by the operator. The data can be displayed or printed in tabular or graphical format. The MCV-2002W provides a linear measurement range of 33 feet with 1 microinch resolution, and an angular measurement range of 16 feet with 0.2 arsec angular resolution.
