ShopTouch Sr.
The ShopTouch Sr. is designed to handle tough industrial commercial and agricultural environments. The rugged electronics are housed in a completely sealed NEMA 4/12 epoxy powder-coated steel housing, fully gasketed to allow it to be placed in the harshest environment. With its small footprint (8" x 16"), the ShopTouch Sr. computer can be free standing or wall mounted. The ShopTouch Sr. eliminates the need for external cooling devices or heat exchangers, yet still operates over a wide temperature range. The ShopTouch Sr. is designed to withstand vibration, EMI, RFI and is totally sealed to resist the effects of dirt, oil, water and other potential contaminates. Versatility The ShopTouch Sr. industrial computer is designed to allow you to purchase only what you need. If you need straight forward computer power for basic use, specify the standard ShopTouch Sr.; if you require special data acquisition capability, networking or a color monitor, specify these options. The ShopTouch Sr. is designed to incorporate advanced real-time control and data acquisition capabilities, as well as both analog and digital I/O capabilities. When coupled with the ASD GageMux Plus or Micro GageMux, inputs from gaging and instrumentation are controlled by a dedicated I/O microprocessor and built in, 16-bit, analog to digital converter for maximum speed and flexibility. In this configuration, analog inputs can utilize voltage, current, or resistance signals, accepting inputs from nearly all transmitters, transducers, RTD's and signal conditioning devices. Expanded communications capabilities include RS-232C, RS-422, RS-485 and current loop interfaces.
