Renishaw Inc.ibration software is designed to work with the firm's ML10 laser measurement system for CMMs, machine tools, and other precision positioning devices. This Windows-based tool provides static and dynamic data capture of machine tool linear positioning as well as angular, straightness, and squareness accuracy. Data analysis is provided for the following machine tool standards: ISO 230-2 (1997), ANSI B5.54 and B89, VDI 3441 and 2617, JIS-B6330, and GB-10931-89.
The software also can operate other accessories including the firm's RX10 rotary axis calibrator; it also can capture, store, and present data from instruments made by other suppliers including digital indicators and amplifiers.In addition, linear error compensation packages that can automatically improve positioning accuracy of machine tools will be available as add-ons.
