Optodyne Incorporated is a retrofit package designed to enhance the accuracy and performance of a Supermicrometer (TM). The system can also be installed on a universal measuring machine or a setting gauge. Upon purchase of this package, the Supermicrometer(TM) is shipped to Optodyne for the installation of a linear laser measurement system. After installation the anvils should be relapped. A certificate of calibration on the laser system, will also be supplied. Included as part of the package is software designed to optimize operation of the Supermicrometer(TM) and the installed laser system. With the retrofit, the resolution of the unit is greatly increased.
