Ohaus' New Adventurer Balance: An Economical Way To Weigh With Precision

Affordable quality and reliable performance best describe the new, easy-to-use Ohaus Adventurer. It's the ideal balance for general laboratory applications. Adventurer offers 17 different weighing modes—grams, kilograms, milligrams, ounces, mommes, 3 taels and more—to handle all your basic weighing needs. It can even handle parts counting.
Adventurer's simple three-button operation—including a separate print button—eliminates the need for extensive training. Its' large LCD display makes the balance easy to read.
Calibration also is a snap with Ohaus' Adventurer. Just place a weight on the pan, press a button and the balance does the rest. To tare, just place a container on the pan, push a button to reset the display to zero and add the sample. Large left and right tare buttons offer easy left- or right-handed operation.
Designed to stand up to rugged use, Adventurer features a durable contoured base, as well as contoured top and spill gutters to direct spills away from the display. Its sealed one-piece function label is easy to clean and protects internal components.
The balance offers a standard RS232 interface facilitates easy communication with computers and other peripheral devices. Adventurer's integral weigh-below hook simplifies below-balance weighing applications, including density determination, and an ergonomic leveling system that makes set up easy.
Adventurer is available in capacities ranging from 150g to 4100g and readabilities from 1 mg to 0.1g. Milligram models come with a glass draft shield.
