Edmunds To Showcase New Gaging Amplifier At Eastec 2000, Booth #5720
May 2, 2000
The CAGQCM provides signal conditioning, display, data gathering, and storage in one unit. Users do not require separate column amplifiers or data collectors, and there are no PC-based system problems such as incompatibilities with peripheral hardware and software programs. CAGQCM is compact - about 11" high x 16" wide x 9" deep. It displays measurement data, in real time, in a choice of numerical and graphical formats, including X-bar and R charts, bar graphs, histograms, scatter charts, and more. It is suited for any multi-dimensional measurement applications using manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic gages, including closed-loop feedback systems for machine tool compensation. Detailed process control information may be reviewed on screen or downloaded to a PC network. Setup data may be stored for many part programs. For-more- added durability, Edmunds uses a flash plug-in memory card to drive the program and store the collected data, instead of conventional rotating disk drives, which can be unreliable in manufacturing environments.
Other products to be demonstrated at Eastec 2000 include the Accu-Setter microprocessor gaging column, Trendsetter analog column, 5" gage block comparator, air gage tooling, and cylindrical gages - rings, plugs, and setting discs. Attendees can also learn about Edmunds metrology services for in-house calibration services.
